Back from Animazement! I had an excellent time. My cosplays and the panel went very well, and I got to see so many awesome people. I’ll probably post a few pictures sometime in the next week once I’m not so damn tired. BRB GONNA GO SLEEP FOREVER.

Also, if my Tumblr queues don’t start working by then I’m going to punch somebody.

- I’d honestly love to do internet things for a living. Which sounds pretty stupid, but I’d love to be a professional blogger or something. I put my heart into all the stuff I make online, and it would be great to just do that forever. Definitely not financially possible at this point, though.
- I’ve gotta have a huge amount of creative release every day or I’ll implode. I can’t spend a day without fiddling with something in photoshop, or working on a scarf, or writing, or at the very least playing in my closet. Sewing is the best though, because I end up with something to wear.
- I’m kind of a messy person. Not like…trash everywhere gross food sitting out sort of messy, but I definitely can’t keep a flat surface in my room clear for more than an day, tops. I do my best to hide it in my youtube vlogs and blog photos though haha.
- It’s my dream to work at one of the Disney reference libraries. Well, I’d love to work at Disney whatever I was doing, but being around all of that beautiful concept art and cels all day would be marvelous. I’m starting on my masters in Library Science this summer, so maybe I can have the chance to do that one day. If that doesn’t work out, I’d probably still be happy as a children’s librarian and maybe getting to wear costumes to work for story time :D
- I have a love/hate relationship with fandom. I guess everyone does. Right now I’m feeling very hot and cold with Korra in particular because while I love the show, the fandom has been shipping people sincewe only had concept art.And it’s only gotten worse from there. I don’t care who makes out with who, I just want a show with a bunch of awesome characters doing awesome things.
- I’m adopted! Everyone probably already knows this because I bring this up every time I do one of these things haha. But it’s something that is a very big part of me and who I am and how I feel about things, so I like to talk about it. It’s an interesting thing to know about and be involved in and it often gets grossly misrepresented by the media, so feel free to ask me questions if you’re curious.
- I love having lots of friends. I’ve never been a one-best-friend kind of gal, I’ve had groups of friends my whole life. I am pretty atrocious about keeping up with people though, so I tend to drift apart from people just because I’m busy or absent-minded. If I don’t talk to you for a while, definitely don’t think that I don’t like you.
- I’m learning to drive. I haven’t mentioned it to a lot of people because I really do not want to have those conversations that start with “Took you long enough” or “It’s about time.” I didn’t start driving when most people do because of a combination of things. There were a lot of car accidents involving kids at my high school for one, and that terrified me. I also didn’t feel comfortable with it, so I waited a while. I’m feeling pretty good about it now though, and I’m definitely going to enjoy more freedom.
- I cannot wait for Celebration VI. The last convention was so amazing. It was tiring and ridiculous and like half of my time was spent in lines, but it was the definitely the best trip I’ve ever taken. Still not quite sure what all I’ll be wearing, but I’m sure it will be excellent.
- I got a lolita valentine last week and it totally made me cry. It was really sweet.
San-chan is finished :D She’s pretty big, a little over two feet tall and a bit more around, and she can stand on her own! I’m ridiculously happy with how she came out. Now to get started on my Himari outfit!
More digging around in my closet. I’ve been kind of out of it this winter, wearing the same things a lot, so it feels really good to want to experiment with my clothes again. The skirt is AatP’s Horoscope print!
Tried out some applique today! Need some stabilizer, but I think it came out pretty well for practice.
So I bought this bathing suit the other day from Modcloth and it finally arrived.
I was really hoping it would be terrible and not fit and that I could return it, because lets be honest I’m one of those people who gets anxious about my financial future when I’m spending money on things that…

Experimenting! A friend of mine is leaving for Afghanistan soon, so he’s having a party and instructed us to dress ~*~FANCY~*~. I was waffling between this dress and my white h.naoto frill dress, which are my fanciest. But I’m thinking of using this one if only because I don’t wear it as often. It’s pretty hard for me to coordinate because I don’t have a lot of Baby’s stupidly difficult to match wine red, so I have to be a little more creative. There’s some tan & brown in the curtains and characters on the print, so I tried with some brown. I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I think with my hair actually styled instead of thrown up in a bun, some makeup, some accessories, and more stuff on my head, I will be properly fancy.
